Just because the man apparently has the time to zip all over the internet finding sources that fit his ideaology and citing them in his posts does not mean he's posting fact.
I tried hard to intellectually take on his arguments when I first got on here and found myself attacked and labeled by him.
Much of what I post is my own personal feeling, backed up with 52 years of hard, down-in-the-trenches experience with people of many different walks of life. I've learned to trust my judgment I've gained and it has rarely steered me wrong. I've been a huge scholar of history all my life and tend to look at events over the span of centuries instead of getting my only input from some single internet source covering a year worth of data. To try to put some source in my post other than a lifetime of study would be an exercise in futility. If you feel that's an invalid debating technique, you're welcome to your opinion but it'll hardly change my methods.
I really have no clue who you are, your background, your political views, or your own insight about life on Earth so, to tell you the truth, I could hardly care at this time if it bothers you that I don't treat Tom with kid gloves. In my opinion he's that glowing example of the reason we're in the mess we're in right now. He's got enough brains to get this air of respectability but they only compute in black and white, good and evil. Guys like Tom are the people that are cannon fodder to the manipulators in the world, that show up at the ballot box like sheep and feed us the party line over and over. If I can shine a little light on the danger a world full of people like that pose, I sleep a little better at nights.

The support he provides is hardly balanced.

- has anyone mentioned here Bush's acknowledging 30,000 Civilian casualties in Iraq?
- re: has anyone mentioned that this is hardly news?
- Never mind
- Good point but
- yes those elections are very good news. Think of this though:
- I've got a better one.
- Freedom and democracy...and where would that be?
- that's not really the point here
- "Could anyone still say, 'this is worth 30,000 deaths'?"
- Get real.

- Well, they were going to die sometime anyway, so Bush isn't really responsible.
