I had to listen to this "impending theocratic dictatorship" crap through eight years of Reagan. The only leftist rhetoric missing now is the "he's going to start a thermonuclear holocaust any second" bit.

"One party state?" Get real. There's an election in a few months. Win it, or keep on making excuses on why Democrats are out of power. You can always go in with the Diebold nutcases.

You know, when Clinton was President, and had the Congress for two years, I don't recall any thoughtful liberals wondering if maybe there was maybe too much power concentrated in one party. I don't remember any liberal sighs of relief when the Republicans took the Congress in 1994 that maybe there would be more "balance" now.

If Congress had stayed Democratic, as it had been for years before that, and Gore had won in 2000, try and convince me that you would have lost sleep over it.

If Congress, the executive, and judicial branches in Washington were all Democrats most liberals would like it just fine, thanks.

Try and stay off the high horse. You'll fall.
