No thanks. This was what I wanted to address:
"So, perhaps RL could explain what major policy issues differences [in America politics- among those that claim they are socialists, communists, Marxism, or "progressives"]. And therefore proving the extent in which Tom is wrong."

So, Mary Anne can you explain any major policy differences between American socialists, communists, Marxism, or progressives?

There is no doubt that individuals claiming to be either of these could disagree on various issues- but that of course this is not the issue. The point is what are known present policy differences which would tell you the difference between these supposively different groups.
