Again: How old is the student?

Unless you can demonstrate that elementary, middle and high schools are teaching that America is a rotten country and that democracy is evil, you have not made your point.

If you can demonstrate that a teacher at these levels has somewhere taught students to be critical of their country's actions in an informed way, which is to say, aware of American history and political structure and of current events, you still have not made your point. That teacher is teaching civics.

If the students in the schools of which you speak are adults, I say they can fend for themselves. The fact that so many people are still conservatives in spite of all the (according to the conservatives) forced indoctrination in Marxism and so forth that they receive at the university level speaks to a certain amount of ineffectiveness on the part of their teachers, or of a certain amount of independent thinking among the students. Why do you complain about this?

North Korea teaches political thought with prisons, torture and starvation. Unless you intend to suggest that American universities do the same, your analogy falls flat.
