Let's suppose the war is in Iraq. Why would an Iraqi refugee, a sunni muslim, want to seek asylum in the US? Kinda far away, don't you think? Why not Syria? Much closer. And with lots of sunni muslims. There are other countries that might be good choices too. Why the US? Isn't the US his enemy, after deposing Saddam?
