As I said elsewhere, I have high esteem for someone who will stay and fight. Lord knows a line of military or police recruits at the same spot where a line of recruits got blown to hamburger the day before says something about courage.
But I am not going to condemn a man who takes his family away from war and destruction to protect them. I would very likely do the same thing myself, and it takes no small amount of courage to try and find a new life in an alien land.
