An unsettling trend with McCain
I've noticed he has a tendency to buy easily into popular myths and "conventional wisdom" without knowing the real facts.
Recent examples include a flap on autism and immunizations, his shot on Katrina, and now he's talking about the Minnesota bridge collapse as a symptom of infrastructure problems. None of these stand up to examination.
If he's going to go up against the Democrats and liberals, it might be a good idea not to blindly accept their premises at the very start of the debate. Of course, this trait in him isn't really new, is it?
