I just listened to a report by a neurologist with the State of Florida who examined her on March 1st. Based on the fact that she has not received a PET scan or MRI, and based on what he observed, he is uncertain that she is in a permanent vegatative state. He believes she may have a lessor degree of brain damage called minimally conscious state, a diagnosis that didn't exist when she suffered her brain damage. According to this doctor, her behavior is inconsistant with someone in a permanent vegatative state, including apparent pain awareness and a level of comprehension.
Based on that reasonable doubt, doesn't she deserve a reprieve? After all, if we found real evidence about the guilt of a condemned prisoner, who would argue that the execution must go on? Why are so many people so intent on her death when all she's guilty of is suffering brain damage?
I'll see if I can find a link to his report.

- Why will the husband accept no solution other than her death? Maybe because he promised her.
