The answer was always simple. The husband turns over legal custody to the parents, and goes his merry way. If, as he keeps insisting, there is no consciousness there at all, then she isn't suffering by being kept alive, is she?
I have seen enough information, some more reliable than the rest, to make me very leery of the husband's motives. I have a pretty good idea what the motives of the parents are.
I have seen as many doctors testifying one way on her condition as the other. That the legal opinion on this depends solely on which judge you pick and what day of the week it is has become obvious in many other recent situations, and this is no different.
Cutting through the crap, you have to ask yourself, why will the husband and his representatives accept no solution other than her death?

- Why will the husband accept no solution other than her death? Maybe because he promised her.
