Wolfson was picked as the guardian. He wasn't picked as a physician. He was picked a guardian but this job only lasted two months. In other words he did the same legal function of Michael Schiavo [though it was decided at one point that the courts were to serve as Terri Schiavo's guardian]. Wolfson wasn't selected because of his medical expertise, he was selected because of his legal expertise.
