Worse polluters on wheels are diesels and trucks.

Synthetic oil is more expensive, but better for the engine.

Checking your tires and keep them at the manuf. recommended air pressure....

Even washing and waxing your vehicle before a long highway trip will save on gas (every little bit helps).
