Instead of purchasing more aircraft, the military should simply buy tickets for soldiers on commercial Boeing 747's. It would cost $90 million to buy one, but maybe only a fraction of the cost to buy tickets, and it would boost the airline industry at the same time. We should only buy the aircraft if it is destroyed.

Besides, military aircraft typically cost more and have poorer performance.
