Canada can sleep secure at night...
knowing they don't have to bear the burden of their own security. The same applies to Europe and much of Asia. We get denounced for trying to be the world's policemen by people who don't want to bear the burden of policing their own neighborhood. Does that apply to Canada? Yes.
It's true that we pay far more for our military than the next several countries put together. We wouldn't have to do that if other countries carried their share of the burden. I have no respect for deadbeats, and ingrate deadbeats are beneath contempt.
