The American WORLD Trade Center was attacked.

Twice. Neither of those was in any sense an attack on, say, Canada.

If the US wants Canadians to die in an American fight, if the US wants to bomb the poor Canadians forced to go over there, the least the US can do is not begrudge flying them.
