We're not talking about a decision about some trivial matter like whether one brand of toilet paper is softer than another, in which the consequence of a wrong decision based on insufficient information is merely a sore butt. We're talking about a decision to attack another country.
Bush and his minions claimed to have perfect knowledge that Iraq possessed chemical and biological weapons, and had an active nuclear weapons program. It's apparent now, after the war, that the intelligence wasn't just imperfect, it was absolutely wrong. That is a huge failure of intelligence and of judgment, with vast and tragic consequences. Hundreds of American soldiers have died so far, and thousands of Iraqi soldiers and civilians have died because of that "mistake". It can't be trivialized with facile homilies about "imperfect" information.
