Asymptotic curves

The thing about not finding WMD in Iraq is that you could literally wait until the end of time to absolutely declare their absence. I'm a little more pragmatic. The thousands of US inspectors have had infinitely more time than Bush was willing to give the UN inspectors, and they're operating without any of the constraints. There comes a time when a practical person will say "enough!". That time is near.

"Enthusiasm" is not only inaccurate, it's insulting. The emotion I feel about this issue is more one of sick dread at the thought that Bush very likely has led my country into a ghastly error. If the WMD that justified the war aren't there, then hundreds of Americans and thousands of Iraqis have died...by "mistake"? Under false pretenses? Whatever term you use, it was wrong.

That's no cause for "enthusiasm". Curb your own partisan enthusiasm for a minute and contemplate what Bush has done in your name.
