the plausibility of a proposition is not support for that proposition being true.
True enough...but my proposition that there were weapons and/or weapons factories is more plausible than your proposition that Saddam pursued these things singlemindedly for decades, in the face of the U.N. and other opposition, and then suddenly gave it all up when Bush was elected. Hey, he's not that scary.
