I would really like to know what you would have considered "sufficient evidence," and in what form, that WOULD have justified an attack on Iraq? Prior to the attack, when Saddam and his crew controlled the nation?
What would meet your standards as "an empirical fact?"
A signed confession by Saddam? Could have been forged. Biowarfare production facilities with traces? Might be old stuff laying around for years. How high is the bar? I can't even SEE your bar without a goddam telescope.
