Most folks here probably name associate it with Gilligan's Island, yet for you it is all about the long lost girl you were crushing on, while she was working in the park.

And yeah it seems that CA had planted more climbing trees back in the day. There was this one tree in Bixby Park that was almost like a stairway and kids would climb it, more daring or older ones reaching the 25 feet mark, the less daring, or younger ones, settling for 12 feet up or so.
