For God's Sake, Tom.

That information came straight from United States Air Force interceptor pilots. People with the bombs. Actually, they were short-range missiles, and they knew they couldn't get out of the way fast enough.

And you have a left-wing-nut conspiracy out of it. Conservatives see conspiracies everywhere. Especially the media. The mainstream media reporting facts is a conspiracy, because the facts are unpleasant. And then accuse the left of what they themselves are doing. An old tactic.

It's the right-wing True Believers who are organized, the left-wing isn't, at all. Can't even support Air America. How many Limbaughs are bawling their guts out, supported handsomely by you conspiracy creating conservatives, Ditto-heads marching lockstep with every talking point until you speak with a single voice. A lot. Every city has two or three of them bitching and moaning.

For those who see a conspiracy behind every media story or other piece of information you can't cram into that pretzel-shaped hole that's left after fitting all the lies in, there are great meds for paranoia. And the worse the situation in the Middle East becomes due to the Bush Doctrine and all it's failures, the more they are necessary.

By the way, it wasn't the left-wing. It fit the military-industrial complex agenda to have Americans convinced the USSR was ready to take out everything. Now that's a conspiracy which happens to be true.
