I read that book too, I was just mentioning it to Tom in the post I was writing while you were posting this.
Kahn was blindingly intelligent, but he was dead wrong. His book was one of ther scariest I've ever read, and it sounds so convincing, so logical, until you actually do the thought experiment and step by step go through his scenarios.
