Tell me, which point in the summary was the clincher for you, and why?
The summary had little effect on me. The first alarm bells went off when I started with the references (as I ALWAYS do with any paper purporting itself as serious research, even in my field). The next thing I did was skim the paper and jot down what I could gather of the argument and check it for validity/sensibility. Again, this is the second thing I do with any paper. More alarm bells: this 'Glass House'/'greenhouse' thing is nonsensical. The next thing I typically do is read the introduction. More problems. Then the Summary, Then I do a full reading.
With this one, by now, I already knew it was bullshit. After reading the summary, I skimmed the paper to make sure I wasn't jumping to conclusions- noted all 'johannes' moments, and then decided it was for shit.
Tell me, at what point did you decide to try to use this garbage? When you saw the link? Be honest.

The bluster: Claiming I didn't read it- that I just googled up a refutation

- "THe effects on temperature are negligible at best. "- That is nonsense, the science says otherwise...
- No we are not talking parts per million. And anyway, how would you know SteveS' objection till he has voiced it.
- CO2 levels are around 380 ppm (parts per MILLION)
- More used to seeing it as a percent. (n/t)
