Only 52 scientists participated in the summary of the (now discredited) IPCC report. The same applies to the National Academy of Sciences (NAS) and the American Meteorological Society (AMS). Neither organization allowed member scientists to directly vote on these climate statements. The governing boards , which are made up of a few dozen individuals, had the final and only say in their statements.
How many of these scientists have ties to renewable energy companies or far left groups like Greenpeace, the Sierra Club, WWF, or others?
But then again all of this arguing is pointless. Nothing's going to be done about it. Kyoto is a dismal failure concerning cutting emissions, and any legislation in the US government is going to be stalled well into eternity. In the next several years when the world doesn't explode from global warming, people are going to see it for the alarmist hype that it is. Your side loses by default.

- We're talking parts per million
- "THe effects on temperature are negligible at best. "- That is nonsense, the science says otherwise...
- No we are not talking parts per million. And anyway, how would you know SteveS' objection till he has voiced it.
- CO2 levels are around 380 ppm (parts per MILLION)
- More used to seeing it as a percent. (n/t)
