re: It really isn't an act, is it.....?

I thought it was pretty obvious.

Ok, it's my contention that there isn't any evidence that establishes that trace gases plays a leading role in climate change throughout Earth's history.

This is not to say they didn't play any role in some climate changes in Earth's history- and there may have been rare circumstances that a trace gas increases to level beyond the 1 % level [below 1% makes it a trace gas per definition]. So one or more of the current trace gas may have increased substantially and played a leading role in particular a climate event, but these have been rare throughout Earth's history.

So, without using examples of hypothesis about large increases in CO2 or Methane events which were perhaps unique [or very rare] type events [unless you can show these were instead, common]; what would your examples be that would indicate that what proposing is incorrect?

What climate events in last 10,000 years were caused by trace gases?
Or extending to million to billions of years what percentage of major climatic events can be said to be caused by trace gases?
