People, Americans, are dying.
For lack of health care, for lack of routine procedures.
To trivialize that fact by pointing out that some people have to spend a lot for prescription drugs is unbecoming.
Tell me something, if you would. Why shouldn't American citizens be protected from deadly things like colon cancer by having routing colonoscopies, just as surely as they should be protected from terrorism?
People are starving in poor countries because they can't get food. People are dying from preventable diseases in a very rich country because they can't get medical care past the ER. Does that make sense?
