<Fry cooks at Burger King....yeah, right.
Obviously, you didn't check the link. They even throw in vision insurance.
And that painter with the two kids.
Or that single mother with the quadrapalegic child.
How about that plumber with the three kids?
Forget anyone over the age of 60, anyone disabled, anyone of a different color, or anyone who lives in a trailer.......
Now you're babbling. Was not aware that none of these people could get health insurance. And exactly how many single mothers of quadroplegics need coverage? And of course, by your account, all old people or minorities are destitute. Again, mythology and anecdotes.
I had to pay for my own health insurance for a couple of years when I was self-employed and my wife was going to school. Cost me a few hundred a month for my family, and I had to give up a lot of other things. I didn't go to my next-door neighbor with a gun and demand he pay for it. And yeah, I worked my share of scut jobs when I was younger. You ever shovel silage on 12-hour shifts? That's how almost everyone starts out. The trick is not to finish up that way.
As for those over the age of sixty, there are currently over a quarter of a trillion taxpayer dollars a year being pumped into medical care for them. Maybe you missed this small item.
Just out of curiosity, how much do YOU pay in taxes each year? None of my business of course, but I have shown mine on this board often enough (about $25,000 in income taxes in 2001) and it wouldn't suck if some of the enthusiastic income redistributors on this board told us what they've thrown into the kitty.
