...especially the "pseudoskeptic" tagline, although I don't remember the specific details. I apologize if I offended, but I do sometimes get carried away at what I consider to be misuses and abuses of science, or what we call loosely here, "anomalism". My only defense is that I feel as strongly about what I consider good or bad science as some people here feel about good or bad politics, or economics. In my opinion, political economy is a matter of personal preference, but scientific method is essential to my view of the world and the nature of truth. It's the closest thing to religion I've got.

If it makes you feel any better, I don't recall that incident having served to identify you in my mind as an "anomalist", and some of your recent posts seem to bear out that you have a pretty reasonable and open-minded attitude in those matters (like the Marconi thread).

Again, I'm sorry if I was out of line.
