You know I can't enlist them as allies by mentioning them by name without asking their consent first.

But you know there are conservatives on this board who will defend themselves if attacked, or respond to statements they consider blatantly false or unfair, but who do not initiate controversial posts in order to start fights when things are too quiet.

I'm sorry you got picked on by liberals when you were in school. If it makes you feel any better, I'm a bit older than you, and I was threatened with bodily harm in high school when I made the comment that the phrase "under God" should be deleted from the Pledge of Allegiance. And I'm sure you will be reassured by reviewing what happened to me on SPACE when I had the audacity to suggest that private enterprise wasn't doing a very effective job at carrying out space exploration.
