I guess I imagined you were constantly calling him names behind his back, if he knows about it and is amused by it that's great.
As for the whole "Boss RightWinger" concept, that's pretty absurd since there is no right wing here. At best there is a bunch of conservative moderates and many of those are totally social liberals. Tom is doing a pretty poor job at bossing apparently.
Besides Tom has kept it under his hat all these years, but he is an objectivist-libertarian. His defense of Bush's military policy and fiscal policy neatly coincides with such a philosophy.
RightWingers define themselve by what they oppose and who their enemies are...
That goes to prove that we are not rightwingers. I have no enemies here or anywhere. I don't think Tom has called anyone an enemy here either. Tom's compulsion to share his viewpoint on the news as it happens is much as mine or anyone here. It's not as ER perceives an "attack" or a way of squashing dissent - it is a firm conviction of belief that one shares. None of us "righties" cry bitter tears when our posts fail to sway others here. And unlike the left side of the aisle we don't want to squelch others voices just because we perceive hostility to our views.
Don't forget my role here is to add some interesting drama and insightful reflections. By getting ER to cough up the names of those I already knew he imagined were his "gang of four", I have already been amply rewarded.
