Invade their countries, kick in enough doors in the middle of the night, arrest someone based solely on age and sex, torture 'em, and you'll find a significant amount of hate built up.

I'm sure you would do the same if it happened to you. The only thing which props up some people's bravery is being separated by two or three oceans and a large military from the havoc they create.
