"Hey Tom, thanks for texting me about that post, I'll add my ten cents at the most strategic time. I'll give you the first rebuttal and then I'll slam the door on his whole 'gang of four' bit. By the way it was great seeing you and the family at the Ayn Rand reading last weekend. Katie reads a mean Dagny! Yesterday, I picked up a new phone with bigger keys. My last phone I texted to death. The new phones are flatter, wider with more space - that's the new 'rule of thumb' and makes texting a lot more pleasurable. "

"Yeah, I know what you mean. My cell phone is a lifesaver. It buzzes me after any one of my posts get answered. I can appear like I 'patrol the boards like a reef shark' ready to 'crush dissent' at a moments notice. Nothing beats being able to sit in traffic on the 405 or while picking up a garden salad at McDonalds and text in a response to any one of the liberal 'horde of hundreds' which have taken over the Zone. Katie had fun at the reading, she had to head back after spring break. Hold on a sec...I'm getting another call."

"No prob."

"Hey, Geoff here. I'm cruising the board on my lunch hour, did you see that post ER put up on flame about the gang of four? How did he know? He must be psychic."

"Geoff, YOU must be psychic, I am talking to Tech about it on the other line, it's hysterical. I was just going to text in a response."

"Go get em you perfect high school debater you! I think I'll post a global warming response after letting it sit in its obvious extremity. Tell Tech I'll wait until after he's posted a response."

"Sure. Hold on a sec, some jokester just cut me off...........ok, you can't believe how bad the drivers are here. Naturally, there was an Obama 08 sticker neatly tucked in the left hand side of the bumper."

"C'mon Tom I live in La La Land...I'm just happy if the left here leave there guns at home and I can avoid the crossfire. Well I better get back to work. I'll text you later."

"Ok, don't forget to include some bits about eastern gulags in your post ok?"

"Gotcha."

"Tech?"

"You won't believe who it was?"

"It was Geoff."

"Geez, How'd you know?"

"It's a quantum vortex thingie..which permits certain psychic abilities...no 'gang of four' member should leave home without them. Almost, but not quite, as reliable as a phone tap."

"Save it for the boards. I've got to go, I'm pulling up the drive now, but you wanted me to remind you that the Rand Institute Fountainhead contest deadline is April 25. "

"Oh yeah, Thanks - I would've forgotten. I have a promising student who has already read ALL of Rand's books and she's a heckuva writer too. If someone has a fair shot at winning it, I think she does."

"Wish her luck for me. I wish I had read Rand before getting into college, but most high schools avoid it like the plague even if she is top-rated on most recommended reading lists. I swear I half expect Lee to call me after that bit with Geoff, even if it were some freaky wrong number."

"Ha, yes the 'gang of four' rides again! Now go get em' you barracuda you! Oh, did you hear anything from your agent?"

"Not yet, fingers crossed."

"The book market is still in upheaval. Give it a few weeks to settle down. I'm rooting for you. I'd forward you mine but she's been in lockdown for the past year and is not taking any new clients. She's almost as bad a dentist! Text ya later."
