Defend yourself, make your points, bring up contradictions and absurdities in the other side, in short, everything you're doing now but not as much or as often...or as condescendingly.
From what I can see, defending myself, making points, and bringing up contradictions and absurdities on the other side has pretty much been defined here as condescension and arrogance in and of itself. That's pretty much where it stands.
