re: Think it through...

"As a result, areas with small tide ranges are the most vulnerable. An EPA Report to Congress estimated that a two foot rise in sea level could eliminate 17-43 percent of U.S. wetlands, with more than half the loss taking place in Louisiana (EPA, 1989)."

If 2' rises in sea level make wet lands vulnerable, then throughout the last 10,000 years wetlands have constantly been vulnerable and eliminated.
The cause of sea level rise in the 20th Century, had nothing to do with what humans were doing or not doing. Even if there is an increase in sea level rise in 21 century it's unlikely any of these increases which actually do occur will not have anything to do with human activity.
And of course a 2' rise in sea level for the next century is beyond what the gamers have projected.

"Add to that more numerous and violent hurricanes and you are talking about serious problems... "

But storm surges can range from 10, 20, or 30', even adding 2' isn't very significant compared to 30'.

"But the point that you are intentionally missing is that sea level rise, while a serious issue, is not the most threatening... the precipitation and climate changes will lead to serious problems in agriculture... especially in the third world."

As I said the problem of drought are relatively insignificant compared to bad governance. And there is no evidence that the natural global warming that occurred in the 20th century caused any droughts. Unless you willing to believe silly reporters which are no nothing any topic [but somehow geniuses in regard to GW].
