Photosynthesis

As I've pointed out elsewhere in this thread, CO2 is a beneficial trace gas essential for photosynthesis. Even more CO2 would be directly beneficial not only to plants, but also - by virtue of our symbiotic relationship with them - to man, as well, because of increased and more efficient production of oxygen, which is what plants exhale, and a critical component of what we breathe.

All of this is, I daresay, well established science.

Additionally, and even more to the point, I think the burden of proof is on those hyping the threats posed by the unproven theory of AGW to illustrate how increased CO2 is harmful without resorting to apple-orange comparisons between Earth and other planets.

The most likely explanation for increased CO2 in our atmosphere is because of increasing temperature of the oceans, itself possibly due to submarine volcanic eruptions and/or other geothermal and/or tectonic activity.

It is well established, I believe, that cooler seas absorb CO2, but warmer oceans release carbon dioxide into the atmosphere.

Funny, ain't it, how Earth's little ol' molten core is somehow overlooked in all these discussions?

Food for thought.
