The Palestinians are a weapon.
They have been carefully groomed, separated, and isolated from surrounding Arab nations and peoples in order to maintain their usefulness as an anti-Israel force.
If someone is still in an Arab "refugee camp" after 60 years it's because the Arabs want them there. The last thing the Arabs want is for Palestinians to become Jordanian, Syrian, or anything else other than a seething mass of hatred for Israel.
About 20 percent of Israelis citizens are Arab, many identifying themselves as Palestinian.
