- The thesis is that only an unmistakable imminent threat of a terror attack warrants military action. I have heard this from you and I have heard it from Davin and I have heard it from others.
- I submit that there is no reliable way of positively indicating that there is an imminent threat of a terror attack, due to the very nature of such attacks. No one has provided a refutation of this.
- Therefore, when deciding if military action is necessary, BEFORE we are attacked, we have to work from limited data and information, with the chance of being wrong no matter which way we go.
- The only other alternative is that we have to wait and absorb the actual attack to remove all doubt. You state that this is an extreme position.
I can't put it any simpler than this.
If you object to any of these points, tell me why.
You don't have an answer so you pretend there was never a question. And you think I'm wearing YOU out?
