The page said that presidents from Kennedy to Bush Sr. had dealings with a regime we had no business dealing with. Instead of crying about GWB going in and removing it from power, you should be glad that his administration finally took the correct course of action. Considering the state of the world in the past though, I don't blame those other presidents.
In the 1960's the USSR was a threat to the world, if dealing with the Baathists helped to secure our interests in the ME under those circumstances then so be it. In the 1980's, Iran's Islamic revolution was a major threat to the region, and again Iraq served its purpose as a counter weight. Once those dangers had passed, Iraq no longer served a purpose. And when their aggressive actions posed a threat to our interests we acted to stop them. Personally I think we should have finished the job in 1991, but that's history and we can't change it.
I still can't understand how you people condemn us for dealing with such an unwholesome government, then bitch when a new president declares that it must be toppled and actually does it.
