That's the rat in Willard, right?
Brother, you really do think a lot of yourself! snort "Socrates"....
He had boyfriends. Did you know that? So he doesn't resemble you there.
He wrote nothing. Almost everything we know about his teaching comes through his students, mainly Plato. So no resemblance there, either. You write voluminously, and if you have any students, none of them are here. Though there may be people studying you personally, for clinical reasons.
One of his most famous observations is, "I know nothing except the fact of my ignorance." You, apparently, believe you know a good deal more than that.
Whenever you annoy someone to the point that he or she tells you off, that person is accused of having no sense of humor! That isn't very Socratic, either. Socrates taught by asking questions, listening to the answers, and asking questions derived from the listening. You talk about four times as much as you listen.
Listen to this, Tech: When you use your imaginative talent to write fiction, that's fine. It's really very good. If you want to found your own religio-scientific sect and live in it, that's OK too. When you start using your pseudo-scientific religious fiction to substantiate your belief -- that's right -- that another whole group of human beings is substandard, and then preach it in a public place, you shouldn't be surprised if someone calls you on it.
You're just pissed off that people are calling you on it. Naturally, as you have no proof, the only alternative left to you is personal attack. Well, rant on, Socrates! Tell Ben I said hello.
