And a good one!
In my view the infinite universe is timeless. Time is only a variable from any fixed position. So ensoulment has always been there and is also happening right now. With each instant as energy regenerates we are adding and developing this data.
When you think about it from a relativistic point of view - it's the only way it can make sense. The universe is inifinitely old or a newborn - and all this depends upon the spectra of energy you find yourself in. (this is by viewing the universe as layered like an onion with infinite dimensions all adjoining yet based upon the frequency of the energy waves that comprise them)
So ensoulment occurs for souls simultaneously, yet development of a soul can occur at vastly different rates from whichever point you place yourself in these spectra. Here's how I think it works:
A 4.0 gigahertz chip can process the same data faster than a 2.2 gigahertz chip. A 600 megaherz processes it slower than these two. So even if they "start" processing data at the same instant - one is an "older soul" with more experience under their belt because of this faster rate of data transfer. Now imagine that the amount of data transfer changes the processing speed of the chip and it even further increases this disparity even more and is capable of handling streams of data that would overwhelm the lower processing speed chips.
Imagine if you will various parallel universes that operate with different (FF) fundamental frequencies - more events occur in the universe with the higher FF than in the universe with the lower. In theory, it is possible for an eternity to go by in one universe while the other universe is still just playing with stone knives. If souls can crossover these spectra then they can place themselves where they best can learn new lessons and expand their perspective of all this that is going on. In the process the end result is you have a vast disparity of intellectual and social development on any of these worlds and cultures that souls may find themselves born within.
Such is evidenced by our own world - where clearly there is more going on than just environmental and social cues.
It is also why a soul is eternal - because all these infinite number of parallel universes are truly timeless from a big picture conceptualization. It's really hard to get a handle on perceiving a "timeless" structure - at least until you separate the multiverse into these infinitely varied spectra. The illusion then from any point in the various spectra would be of newborn and ancient souls. Naturally gods and religion would be one way younger souls would interpret any older souls.
You may spend 80-100 years odd on this world and learn X amount of data and then transfer to another where you learn X2 quantity. You return to this world and though not much "time" has passed for you it as if you have lived 10000 years in the meanwhile. Naturally, this would create significant disparities.
If one takes this idea further and extrapolates how a world might use this knowledge it presents an eerie picture.
When a world becomes aware of these processes they might institute some sort of birthscanning FF device/abortion procedure to keep folks within a certain level. Since earth is not aware of it, or has developed to such a level yet, the earth would be a melting pot of criminal and younger souls kept out of some of these other worlds.
In other words our planet could be such a mess because of discrimination on advanced worlds.
Something to ponder.
At least its a workable and entertaining theory. It would also be a nice fitting plug to fill in the "dark matter" dilemma cosmologists now encounter.
