Thank you Mary Anne, for a nicely done piece. I agree with you that America STANDS for the moral high ground in thought, but corporate interests backed by a military industrial complex has made us take the low road on one too many occasions and we are losing international respect and co-operation because of it.
Your writing is so very excellent, I wish you'd do a short essay and submit it to a national magazine. You come across as honest and agreeable; something I consider a fine art. You did another really nice piece yesterday as well, which I wanted to comment on.
