Always glad to see I still can amuse
When you start using your pseudo-scientific religious fiction to substantiate your belief -- that's right -- that another whole group of human beings is substandard, and then preach it in a public place, you shouldn't be surprised if someone calls you on it.
You see? It's this sort of thing that nonplusses me. When did I say that anyone was substandard? If anything I thought the point was very clear - everyone has lived lifetimes of the opposite sex and that dealing with that fact is the underlying source of these observed attractions, repulsions and what-have-you. You are reading into my story something that wasn't there at all. If one is substandard - we all are. The point was to illustrate how common such things are and how to intelligently deal with them when given the understanding of what exactly is occurring.
This all falls under the category of "know thyself." For me, "all I know is that I know nothing" has been updated to "all I know is but the tiniest fraction of infinite intelligence." The change is necessary when one realizes "nothing" does not exist.
The persecuted become the persecutors and those who either believe they are or actually are being persecuted often turn around and persecute others. The Jews and the Palestinians are an obvious example of this behavior and the revolutionaries in France in 1789 and Russia in 1918 are other good examples of this common cyclic process.
I'm not persecuting anyone, nor am I instituting some new social order. I point out things as I see them and this seems to infuriate some folks here. I seek no converts and don't offer anything other than my own observations.
My idea of a revolution is to awaken minds to their own infinite nature. In an infinite universe all are equal in stature even if there positions evidence great disparity. My views in no manner declare any person or group substandard. My view that engaging in homosexual acts is a self-destructive personal action is no more shocking than my view that people who shoplift or overeat are also engaging in self-destructive actions. Everyone engages is self-destructive actions to one degree or another. Humanity as a whole would require the "substandard" moniker. Everyone is free to believe what they will. In an infinite universe, each person has a unique frame of reference. From your position my views are bigoted and persecutory. From my position your views are incomplete and founded on personal emotional biases.
It would be interesting to walk a mile in the other person's shoes.
