ER just told you that he faces a possible 5 years of later life without any access to health insurance and all you can talk about is the bottom line and politics?
Here's the true meat of the problem and until you face up to it, any credibility you think you might have created with your attention to detail and research just goes out the window.
And all it takes is the preface that you acknowledge the problems the other side faces. Nobody necessarily needs you to agree whole heartedly. Every one of us calling for some major change to our health care system know that there will be incredible growing pains and sacrifice for all Americans. Change always creates that and yes, power will shift but power shifts when the major motivation is compassion cannot be as bad as the alternative.

Cripe Tom, would you respond to the person and not the issue
The whole thread (80 posts)
- Bush the Child Killer
- Interesting article
- I've watched this discussion...
- Looking at it more closely, it may be mostly about the money
- Demonization as an "Art" form
- You guys are all missing the point about Nationalized health care.
- Insightful, but...
- Nice judo move...

- re: Bush the Child Killer
- The issue is no health care
- "As the Governor of Oregon said..."
- And the problem with that is?
- SCHIP?
