was the paragraph about tracking drugs that have a chance to make your wife whole again. You talk about the billions required to bring these drugs to market and yet, were the health system truly private and realistically competitive, wouldn't the cost of those drugs once developed be so expensive that a person of your means couldn't afford them? If your health insurance had to pay the full cost for those drugs so that they could provide them to you at an affordable price, they'd drop you like a rock at the first possible chance.
I'm sorry Tom but were profit the only thing driving the creation of new and marvelous drugs we wouldn't have a cure for MS since it only hits a small portion of the population. We'd have a cure for genital herpes.
Talk about the necklaces being in a tangle.

- Bush the Child Killer
- Interesting article
- I've watched this discussion...
- Looking at it more closely, it may be mostly about the money
- Demonization as an "Art" form
- You guys are all missing the point about Nationalized health care.
- Insightful, but...
- Nice judo move...
- THAT is a fascinating point.
- re: Bush the Child Killer
- The issue is no health care
- "As the Governor of Oregon said..."
- And the problem with that is?
- SCHIP?
