It's tragically ironic, Frank, that you live in a part of
the "United States"...of America that directly experienced the
the tragedy that comes from a national civil war.
How many sons and fathers of the Confederacy paid with their lives
during those cruel and tragic years (1861-1865)?....250,000?
And that was in the days before belt-fed machineguns, tanks,
aircraft and nuclear weapons.
Now imagine a global 'civil war' involving a divided "United States"...of the World.
Two rival global factions, armed to the teeth with tanks, aircraft, nuclear weapons, etc.
How many would die? Tens of millions? Hundreds of millions? 1/4 of the world's population?
Human nature almost dictates that jealousy, covetousness,
power lust will create a factional leader.

power and authority."

A World Government is no guarantee that a global 'civil war' will be averted.
