Muslim extremism and creationism taught as science? I don't interpret that clause as anything more than leaving the nuts behind. But then again it was written in part by KSR so it was bound to be a little loopy. The rest was written by Zubrin so it was bound to be a little over the top. The most dissapointing part about it to me is that it had absolutely no debate or discussion at the founding convention. A Philadelphia convention it was most certainly not. I believe most people who signed it signed it in general support not specific support for every clause or choice of wording. I signed it despite wanting to gag over the wording of certain sections.

As for getting out of NASA's way what was your excuse for the 25 years before the Mars Society was founded? Again your comments seem rather illogical. I'm betting you aren't a scientist or engineer even if you do work for "The Space Industry". Do you answer the phones at SFF? I notice you didn't want to claim your "cult" affiliation.
