Right on the mark with your comments. Turns out there is a plan to evacuate New Orleans just was not followed. Rush quoted it chapter and verse on the radio today. 9/6/05.
Here is another question that has been nagin I mean nagging at me. Why in the world would you evacuate poeple to a "shelter of last resort" and not stock it with police, national guard, water and food?
Of course Bush should have proactivley called them and told them to do that.
