I haven't heard it, no. Google gives 289 hits for "'Ray Nagin' 'radio interview'", but none of the transcripts seemed remarkable, other than disturbing comments about dead bodies floating in the streets. Link?

As far as what the rest of the Web's saying, I really don't know, having been kind of preoccupied with my own little community's angst. I can extrapolate from the questions being consistently asked about whether the response was adequate. It was sad this afternoon to catch a phone interview with Trent Lott, illustrated by earlier footage of him poking through the wreckage of his own ruined home, while (in realtime) he was being grilled pretty fiercely on the adequacy of the Federal response. Yeah, lots of piranha schooling these days. I wish I could post a nationwide "ENOUGH" message and get everybody to shut the hell up for a while.
