I completely share your frustration.

There is regional destruction on a massive scale. Probably 1 million people are homeless in the trueist sense of the word. This will literally take years, and possibly a decade to recover from.

Ask the people in Homestead Florida: Hell they're still recovering from H.Hugo 5+ years or ago, and then they just got pounded by a near direct hit from H.Katrina as well. I worry are the people of Florida suffering in silence while the disaster in Louisiana takes all the spotlight?

My biggest frustration is that I don't buy the "they were poor so they couldn't get out" argumement.

Didn't New Orleans have a mass transit system? Couldn't the city have done more to put the poor on buses and move them in-land? But then I remeber, this storm was a Cat 1 and suddenly burst into a Cat 5. there wasn't a whole lot of time. New Orleans and the State of Louisiana was completely unprepared.

It is Frustrating. This is a logistical nightmare on the scale of the D-day invasion...Only we don't have months to prepare and move troops, supplies, and other sundries into position.

No one should be in New Orleans right now except the Corps of Engineers. THE NATIONAL GUARD MUST GET THE PEOPLE OUT! It is nearly impossible to get supplies in...

That's my 2 cents.
