Honestly SDAI, I really don't know where you get your lack of compassion for the human race, because I think you actually detest it. Maybe it's the German in you.

I find your quip about "they should have had this mass exodus out of New Orleans by WALKING out of it" is INSANE.
The outer bands were already upon them DAYS before, those furious gusts of wind with downpours that last for 10 minutes and soak everyone to the bone; not to mention the lightening. No one would walk away and leave their "shelters" with food, especially with kids in tow in 95' heat.

The only preventative measure would have been to have given those families the option to be bussed out. Your attitude is so off the wall that I truly believe you are a complete compassionless sot or your brain has totally rotted out from the aspartame in your diet coke. You can back pedal all you want, but your comments leave no rational analysis.
I am glad I'm not you. Heaven forbid you ever have any progeny.
