Lee is a human tragedy.
He blames the sheep for dying because of the wolves in their midst
The poor, the uneducated, the sick, the helpless. These were the people that the authorities left behind to die. He wants to blame them instead of the corrupt and inept that failed them.
I would pity Lee if he wasn't just another wolf scratching on the door of civilization. If you are right, MA, and we are looking at a trend, then if we want to look for the barbarian heralding the end of this age, we need to look no further than him.
